Sitec has an exciting opportunity for a Validation Engineer for our client Perkins Engines, at their site in Peterborough. This is a contract role, for an estimated 24 months initially.

Overview of role/ team:
The Advanced Components & Technologies (AC&T) division, based in Peterborough (UK), have a number of exiting opportunities to join the team as a Validation Engineer to contribute to the design and development of electrical and electronic control systems for Caterpillar engine and machine prime products developed and produced in Europe.
The role of Validation Engineer will involve development and execution of verification test plans using dSPACE or National Instruments hardware-in-the-loop.
Experience required for the role of Validation Engineer:
* Degree-qualified engineer with experience in HIL/SIL validation and verification
* Prior experience of development of automated software test plans using dSPACE Automation Desk or Labview Veristand and the maintenance of plant models used in HiL closed-loop testing.
