Sitec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious FSTE 100 company who specialise in the Naval / Marine, Engineering and Support Services industry and are seeking a Technical Quality Documentation Specialist to be based in their offices on Devonport Dockyard Plymouth on a contract basis for an estimated 7 months.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist the FNF Principal Quality Assurance Engineer to liaise with external stakeholders, customer representatives and other visitors for the execution of their visits, assessments/audits.
Receipt, registering and tracking of all Life Time Quality Records and provide assistance to the Principal Quality Assurance Engineer for the final issue of LTQRs to the Plant Manager.
Provide assistance and guidance to FNF Project and the FNF Quality Group for the format and storage requirements of quality records, ensuring all nuclear quality documents and records requiring retention are stored correctly in accordance with Babcock Business Management System requirements.
Assist in the preparation, research, maintenance and update of project records and Master Records Index (MRI) documentation.
Retention of FNF ToRRs, with quarterly reminders to FNF line managers for overdue reviews.
Issuing and filing of all transmittals for the project, ensuring the FNF project requirements are achieved within Vault.
Retrieval of documentation from project files within Vault/CDMS to resolve queries.
Convert executable documents to PDF as requested by the FNF project.
As requested, to respond to FNF Document Control Mailbox requests from the FNF Project.
Managing the Quality conference room facilities within N180.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
The Technical Quality Documentation Manager is required to hold the minimum of three GCSEs (or equivalent) or appropriate project experience.
NVQ2 is a Minimum qualification, applications are invited from applicants who have a higher qualification as long as it is relevant to a business environment.
Previous document controller experience, preferred.
Applicants must be eligible for UK security clearance.
