Fantastic opportunity: Our client a major multinational Oil&Gas Company are looking to engage a Mechanical biased Resident Engineer to work on a variety of capex projects at their Avonmouth Fuel Terminal.
Initial location of work Avonmouth and Southampton, therefore a willingness to be flexible on travel is paramount.
This is a long term contract role, paying a competitive day rate (available upon request) coupled with a subsistence (allowance for accommodation/evening meal) plus a mileage allowance too.
Standard working week is circa 45 hours per week with OT rates available too. (Flexibility within reason on how you work those hours)
Example Projects:loading bay and impervious bunding upgrade projects.
Objective of this client facing role:
Co-ordination and management of contractors for the delivery of the projects to ensure compliance with our client's safety (LPS) expectations which includes work permits, working at heights and RAMS etc. The role requires the inspection of the contractors work along walk downs to ensure a safe working plant at all times.
Attitude to safety is paramount for this role. And besides Oil&Gas/Petro Chem our client is prepared to look at candidates from the renewable/nuclear sectors too.
