Job Description

Sitec are currently looking to recruit 3 Recruitment Consultants for a nuclear MoD establishment in Reading (private organisation). The posts are an estimated 3 month contracts and paying competitively on a Ltd, Umbrella or PAYE basis for a 40 hour week.
Successful applicants will be required to be Security Cleared prior to appointment and due to the nature of the projects with this client, Sitec can only accept applications from those resident in the UK for the last 10 years who hold a full British Passport. Unfortunately, dual nationals will not be considered for this role.
Job Purpose:
Provide HR consultancy services to the business, supporting a specified client group and/or delivering HR projects across the organisation, and contribute to the development of strategic people plans. Identify suitable candidates, attracting and managing them against vacancies and the future talent demands of the business.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Deliver high quality, timely and effective internal client and / or external customer focussed HR expertise within area of remit, identifying opportunities, addressing problems, creating possible solutions and providing improvement suggestions.
  • Build relationships appropriate to area of expertise in order to improve experience for customers.
  • Deliver high quality HR advice, and provide coaching and training internally to specified relevant client groups and to HR Advisors and Associates.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
  • Provide insight and data on the internal and external talent market for hiring managers and HR.
  • Proactively recruit, source and develop talent pools to meet identified needs, building relationships with the Resourcing Partners, Heads of HR and Talent & Capability Partners to identify internal talent for positions.
  • Source candidates using all appropriate channels.
  • Own and review the candidate pipeline and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage the end to end hiring process from screening to offer and handover to the on boarding team.
  • Ensure the most cost effective methods are used to recruit and cover business needs and first class candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide sound HR advice and guidance to customers.
  • Interpret customer requirements, alongside external good practice, to deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Provide clear, concise and appropriate communications to customer groups.
  • Prepare accurate documentation and information, ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Use HR data analytics, benchmarking and research to identify solutions to issues and improvements to processes or activities. Identify and manage stakeholders appropriately.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of HR and business projects, providing insight from area of expertise.
  • Work with HR Consultants and managers to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs.
  • Own and manage the delivery of approved resourcing plans to agreed KPIs and project deliverables.
  • Advise managers on recruitment market conditions for a specific function, and the most appropriate hiring channels. Contact, interview and assess prospective candidates ensuring all notes and records of introduction are logged.
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates ensuring continued levels of engagement during the process.
  • Manage the offer process - including providing up to date salary /rate and market information, and comparison data from recent hires in the function.
  • Use systems and tools to track applicants and build pipelines.
  • The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.
