Job Description

Sitec has an exciting opportunity for an Production Manager for our client based in Wiltshire. This is a permanent position.

The Production Manager will be responsible for allocating jobs to each of 3 Production Engineers.

The successful candidate will work with Project Managers to plan and prioritise the jobs which go through the workshop. You will be expected to direct Production Engineers and provide advice on how jobs could be done, both in terms of engineering and efficiency

Detailed responsibilities of the Production Manager:-
* To keep the working environment clean and tidy.
* To work alongside the Project Managers and Production Engineers to ensure parts are manufactured well before despatch date.
* To work alongside the Production Engineers with manufacturing timings to ensure scheduling is accurate and achievable.
* To check that all necessary paperwork has been satisfactorily completed by Production Engineers
* To raise problem notes where problems are observed.
* To resolve problems where possible and reporting corrective actions to Quality Assurance (QA).
* To raise Non Conformance Reports (NCR) on any and all non-conforming events and to help QA with corrective and preventative actions.
* Attend scheduling meetings between Project Management, Purchasing and Materials Management.
* To schedule work planned in the coming months whilst allowing time for short term work to be completed.
* To work safely and to report any unsafe conditions or working practices.
* To look after company equipment and report any damage or breakages.
* To raise problem notes where problems are observed.
* To raise concerns with immediate manager where a problem impacts the ability to continue.
* To attend training sessions when advised about them.
* To use company General Procedure manuals routinely and to keep familiar with them.


Salary:
The salary for this role is between £28,000.00 to £32,000.00 (dependent on experience).
