To support the winning of a long term 'control and automation' framework agreement within the water and wastewater sector our client is looking to secure the services on an experienced Lead ICA Engineer. (Instrumentation, Control & Automation)
This is a long term contract role, paying up to £55.00p/h, LTD with a standard working week of 40 hours.
Being electrically trained and authorised our client is looking for those experienced in:-
1-Communication media i.e. Low power radio, fibre ethernet, ADSL/ADSL+, Profibus/modbus/Profinet, leased lines/PSTN/Private wire, Industrial modems switches,, GPRS/3G/4G antennae.
2-PLC/RTU's and Instrumentation selection, design and install specs/designs for the following i.e. Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation, Schneider T4e, Siemens S7, Serck PX24/PS1/200M and Bristol Babcock (BBL's). An understanding of small RTU/LV panel design processes, including manufacturing.
Able to lead and delegate work and tasks effectively
Report to the programme manager on progress, quality and costs/risks
Be the technical authority on electrical designs supporting the overall technical manager and delivery teams
Lead and manage electrical and ICA designers and sub-contractors (where necessary) to support the construction manager and delivery teams
Lead the design of panel standards created in house
Support the construction manager by leading site survey activities and info gathering to create design solutions
