Job Description

Sitec are currently looking to recruit an IT Project Manager for a nuclear MoD establishment in Reading. The post is for an estimated 9 month contract and is paying competitively on an hourly basis.

Manage the successful delivery the clients Skybox, Alignment with Ozone and OT Mitigations projects

Accountable for:
* The fit for purpose design, delivery and implementation of the clients Skybox, Alignment with Ozone and OT Mitigations Projects
* The successful integration of technical improvements made across multiple systems

Responsible for:
* Maintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality
* Planning and ensuring the on time and within budget delivery of all aspects of the clients Skybox, Alignment with Ozone and OT Mitigations projects
* Producing and maintaining all project documentation including status reports, RAID logs, project plans, change requests and resource requests
* Communicating with the PMO, project sponsor and other stakeholders in order to keep them appraised of progress through routine updates, meeting and progress reports
* Stakeholder management and ensuring integration with other projects, programmes and business areas
* Keeping track of and reducing risks to the Project in a timely manner
* Ensuring quality management of the Project's deliverables
* Managing the Projects' budget and delivering value for money throughout

* Experience in delivering successful project management using recognised project management frameworks and processes such as Prince2
* Experience of working on multiple concurrent project deliverables and across multiple simultaneous projects
* Experience of project management within both MoD and commercial environments
* An ability to embrace, adapt to and drive change
* An proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, problem solve and recommend appropriate solutions
* Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers and the commercial aspects of contract management
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent planning and organising skills
* A recognised project management qualification such as Prince2 or APMP is essential

* Willing and able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance necessary for the role
