Sitec is urgently seeking a Documentation and Database Administrator for a major and prestigious scientific and pharmaceutical client based in Macclesfield.
This is a permanent position, salary range £22,000 - £24,000 depending on your experience
Key tasks
The Documentation and Database Administrator will provide support to manage and control site documentation and asset specific documents and records for a facilities management department.
The successful candidate will provide help, training and support to Engineers / Technicians using the Electronic Document Management Systems and other databases
Accountabilities of the Documentation and Database Administrator:
* Document Management - electronic
* Creation of new and update of existing documents
* Records Management - electronic / paper
* Database administration
* Database training / account set up
* Reporting / KPI's
* Management of registers
* General office support
General:
* Assist team members with their workloads to meet targets
* Monitor and report progress of workload
* Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
* Understand the suppliers and customers business processes
* Ensure policies and procedures are followed
* Support continued new and improved ways of working
Skill Requirements:
* Good familiarity with Office 2007 / Office 365
* Good familiarity of Document Management Systems
* Use of databases
* Time management / planning
* Good communication skills
* The ability to work to specified deadlines
* Creative problem solving experience
* Knowledge of SAP and SharePoint an advantage
