Sitec currently have an opportunity for a Data and Reporting Specialist to join our client based in Broughton. This is a contract role for an initial 3 months with extension liliey. The pay rate for this role is £22p/hr Ltd.
Description of the job
Data & Reporting Specialist required to produce weekly and monthly Plant Quality reports using combination of SAP and Microsoft packages (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) requiring excellent technical skills, an analytical reporting mind-set and experience adhering to reporting governance processes. There may also be an opportunity to help shape and develop the digital future of the Plant Quality organisation using tools such as Skywise and G Suite alongside new central Quality digital tools such as CoNQUER and SharQ to simplify, standardise and automate reporting processes. This role is based in the Broughton Plant Quality Processes and Integration (QDOM) team who lead process improvement activities across all business areas promoting best practices, utilising synergies and promoting business excellence.
Tasks & Accountabilities
Plant Quality Reporting Support
Production of weekly Quality Balanced Scorecard Report, Supplementary KPIs and local team brochures to enable performance to be assessed against targets for all four programmes on Broughton site.
Update and maintenance of Quality reporting files, forecasting models and databases ensuring understanding, accuracy and credibility of source data.
Support Broughton element of cross plant Quality monthly and quarterly reporting and reporting governance activities providing monthly data preview, analysis for target setting, production rate updates, projected improvement project savings and transact reporting exclusions.
Update and maintain Reporting User Guide to support in cases of absence/holidays.
Update and maintain Data team Action log ensuring that team requests are logged and completed as required.
Develop and maintain reporting guides and ID cards to ensure that Quality KPI users understand measures being reported.
Plant Quality Digital Reporting Future
Support development, testing and administration of Quality digital reporting tools e.g. CoNQUER (Cost of Non Quality tool) working with central teams to ensure that Broughton requirements are submitted, data analysis and providing local user support.
Use digital knowledge and competencies with particular focus on Skywise to facilitate transition from Microsoft products to a more efficient automated way of working which enables lineside teams to drill down and analyse data.
Support review of remaining reporting processes and files to identify simplification opportunities, including an evaluation whether they are to be migrated to G Suite and/or Skywise, to free up capacity to support centralisation of data activities currently carried out lineside.
Consider how new digital tools such as Skywise could be used to provide both weekly, daily and by MSN requirements with minimal start of year set up.
Support development and roll out of Smart SQCDP Quality KPIs.
Update and maintain Reporting Dashboard ensuring that links are topical.
Support introduction of G Suite within Broughton Plant Quality team as G Suite Champion keeping team informed of roll out planning, training opportunities and provide technical support when required to support transition.
Analysis of product quality data, to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities.
*Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, PowerPoint and Outlook.
*SAP based reporting experience and interest in digital solutions.
*Analytical and reporting data focused mind-set with ability to interpret data.
*Experience of reporting processes and governance.
*Experience of problem solving and the ability to troubleshoot issues with a calm methodical approach.
*Willingness to learn and develop Plant Reporting Subject Matter Expert knowledge in order to maintain files and respond to business queries.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels of organisation and build reliable network.
*Ability to work independently, leading tasks where required, whilst also keeping team and business updated on progress.
*English language written and oral skills.
