Job Description

Sitec are currently looking to recruit a Cyber Programme Technical Lead for a nuclear MoD establishment in Reading. The post is for an estimated 2 Year contract and is paying competitively on an hourly basis.

To provide Technical leadership and architecture governance for the clients Cyber Programme

Accountable for:
* The delivery of technical capability with the clients Cyber programme
* The creation and maintenance of technical and solution design documentation
* Driving definition of technical architecture to support solution definition
* Identification, appraisal and setting of solution requirements
* Oversight of implementation and integration of technical solutions
* Ensuring successful accreditation of new systems and services

Responsible for:
* Maintaining and promoting high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality
* Ensuring that a consistent technical and solution architecture exists within the Cyber Programme and that this is integrated with other internal projects
* Providing technical advice and solutions appraisal to the Cyber Programme Team and wider leadership to ascertain relevance and potential value of new technologies
* Leading continual professional development of Programme architects
* Advising on technical design standards

* Experience in technical and solution architecture pertaining to a range of different systems including networks, cloud, desktop, virtualisation, Windows server and Linux environments
* Experience of working within teams delivering complex IT change programmes with ongoing deliverables
* Experience the MoD accreditation process
* Experience of working in an agile environment and experience with agile methodologies
* Proven experience in conducting technical and solution design reviews
* The ability solve complex problems whilst working under pressure
* Demonstrable able to communicate and present effectively at all levels
* Tenacious and able to defend conclusions to senior stakeholders

* Professional architecture framework qualifications such as MODAF or TOGAF essential
* Professional IT qualifications such as CCNA, MCSE and SANS qualifications highly desirable
* Professional IT security qualifications desirable but not essential

* Willing and able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance necessary for the role
