Job Description

Sitec has an opportunity for a Change Manager with ILS and AR&M experience and a proven support engineering background at our client's site in Bristol.

This is a contract position based in Bristol for an estimated 6 months. The maximum pay rate for this position will be a daily rate of: £300 UMBRELLA or £240.08 PAYE

Please note that the client has determined that the off-payroll working rules will apply to this assignment and where a worker elects to provide their services through an intermediary (such as a personal services company) then income tax and primary national insurance contributions will be deducted at source from any payments made to the intermediary.

Change Manager Key tasks and deliverables:

* Provide focal point for all support matters
* Lead role for incident management
* The instigation of PDS services and producing project documentation for resource and finance
* Upkeep of Product Availability

Primary purpose of the Change Manager post:

Determine cost-effective, support engineering, technical work-packages for embodying into the product's supply support service arrangements, either through Supplier based contractual availability or traditional support arrangements. This involves the defining and developing of support requirements that result in the timely acquisition of assured support resources. These are balanced, within acceptable costs, to sustain the Army's full logistic operational planning cycle and commitments in VANGUARD, Forward Presence operation in the designated country and future planned scenarios. This includes the technical management and sustaining of in-service performance levels to agreed customer requirements and readiness levels.

The post will deliver Technical Through Life Support (TTLS) to the assigned SDM(s) and their Product's TTLS WBS and schedules, which includes providing updates on how they are meeting the schedule timelines to the SDM and TTLS function lead.

Experience Required:

  • At least 5-years in ILS and AR&M with a proven support engineering background.
  • Working knowledge of Logistic Support Analysis
  • Knowledge of DEF STAN 00-60/00-600

Desirable Experience:

  • ILS Licence Level 2


Successful applicants will be required to be Security Cleared prior to appointment.
