Sitec have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Support Engineer (Electrical) for our client Marshall Aerospace in Cambridge. This vacancy is a Permanent Staff role.

CAD Support Engineer (Electrical) Permanent Cambridge

The vacancy of CAD Support Engineer (Electrical) has arisen within the Engineering function to support the busy CAD helpdesk reporting to the CAD Manager.

Responsibilities expected of this role are:
* Providing first-line CAD technical support
* Training engineers in the correct use of CAD applications
* CAD Standard Parts Librarian tasks
* Proactive thinking on improving systems/procedures/processes

This role would suit an individual who has natural problem solving ability and able to multi-task. They would also require a good knowledge/previous experience of an ECAD tool (Mentor Graphics (preferred), Zuken) and a PDM/PLM system.

An understanding of Aerospace and Defence working practises would be preferred and knowledge of CATIA V5 Electrical Workbench would be advantageous but not essential.
