Sitec stun organisers with an enormous collection of food for the Trussell Trust food bank.
This Christmas, Sitec's Church House office decided to support local Bristol food banks ran by the Trussell Trust. The Trussell Trust has a network of 428 food banks across the UK providing emergency food & support to people in crisis. Read more about the good work of the Trussell Trust here.
For the past two weeks, Sitec's Church House office has been collecting boxes of donated food. The response has been nothing short of astounding. Donations, which ranged from long life milk, biscuits, tea and coffee to tins, dried foods, cereals & toiletries, filled 15 boxes and numerous bags.
Special Thanks go to Adam Harnett, Lewis Oliver and the whole Repair team who, aside from donating food, arranged a cash collection raising over £160. This was followed up by a shopping trip to a local supermarket to purchase much needed essentials for the food bank.
Sitec and it's employees have, once again, shown tremendous generosity in support of this charity. The donated food will go a long way towards helping a growing number of families through difficult times, especially with the added expense that the festive season brings.
Thank you all for your support.
