Sitec Support Macmillan and The Willow Foundation Charity Golf Day

Representatives from Sitec attended the Chipping Sodbury Charity Golf Day, held on 17th July 2017. Over £3,500 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support & The Willow Foundation.


Chief Engineer, Paul Dando, lead a team of golfers for the Chipping Sodbury Charity Golf Day. The Sitec team had mixed fortunes on the golf course, with a fairly average mid-table finish. The day, however, was a huge success raising over £3,500 for the charities taking the annual total raised by Chipping Sodbury Golf Club over £10,000.

The Willow Foundation

The Willow Foundation is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfill uplifting and unforgettable Special Days. 

Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 13,500 Special Days for young adults living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s disease.

Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.

As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care. Macmillan Cancer Support's goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK.
