Manufacturing Engineer, Derby or Bristol Several vacancies

Sitec are seeking several experienced Manufacturing Engineers for our prestigious client to work at either their Derby or Bristol sites on an estimated 6-12 month contract.

Our client is a global business, providing and supplying integrated power systems for use on land, sea and air. They have established a strong position in civil and defence aerospace and the marine and energy markets.

Job Description
Within Derby we are looking for manufacturing engineers with continuous improvement, process improvement who have experience improving components and also cost reduction experience.

Manufacturing engineers with cost reduction yielding improvement experience skilled at finding ways of reducing wastage costs.

You will be able to show a history of making and developing improvements, project work (Green Belt) as well as understanding process control.

You will have knowledge of problem solving and statistical analysis tools which are important to drive improvement by looking at data identifying opportunities to cut costs, propose solutions and deliver them.

We will consider Manufacturing Engineers with machining, heat treatment, EDM processing (Film Cooling) or Grinding experience.

Two of the positions within Derby require Investment Casting experience... if you are a good casting engineer who may not have the ME background these vacancies might still suit you...

In Bristol two of the roles require the Investment Casting experience as above.

For the other two vacancies in Bristol as above, plus Mini tab or MS Excel skills.

Ideally you will have aerospace or automotive industry experience.

You'll be a strong communicator and a shop floor team player.
