Sitec looks to India for Engineers
 |
Sitec is looking to build on existing relations with the Indian aerospace sector through the recruitment of additional design and stress engineers. The focus will be on recruiting skilled engineers to work on both aero-structures and aero-engine projects.
Engineers are expected to help fill the skills shortage in the UK and will be used to expand Sitec’s existing teams on both current and future programmes. The company has a well established presence in India and has been working with both organisations and individuals from the Indian aerospace sector for over 5 years.
Prospective candidates with 3 or more year’s relevant experience, and willing to work in the UK on aerospace programmes should send their details to us for consideration, using our contact form.

Graduate Development with AgustaWestland (UK)
 |
Sitec have entered into a graduate development arrangement with AgustaWestland (UK) that will develop aerospace engineers, for the local and wider aerospace industry. The development centre is located in the Sitec offices in Bath (UK)
Key to skills attainment is the ability to learn "on the job" from current experienced engineers and to be able to effectively utilise various aerospace systems and CAE tools. The type of work undertaken involves design and analysis of aerospace components on actual aerospace programs, with the output being engineering data/models for direct use in production and manufacture activities.
This arrangement is being supported by AgustaWestland (UK) through the provision of contracts for engineering design tasks, on the job support, training provision and the opportunity to work with the integrated design manufacturing engineering teams at the AgustaWestland plant in Yeovil.
