Job Description:

Build customer engine GAs from library or self-generated part models. 400 Series, 854, 1200 Series.
• Carry out whole engine system/machine packaging feasibility studies, importing and using customer supplied machine models (Client & 3rd Party). Make and test recommendations to resolve issues. Conclude and communicate internally & externally.
• Prepare for, and represent IPSD to customer in Integration Workshops on or off site. Follow up with Applications Engineers, Technical Leaders and customer engineers where necessary.
• Carry out & formally report on new engine option feasibility studies, as directed by Architects, Tech Leads, CPPD/FPT/ISM. Liase with engine Architects, Tech Leads & CPPD/FPT/ISM working toward synergistic definition of customer engine specifications prior to ESM availability. • Manage internal and external customer GA records, serial numbering & schedule. • Manage time & prioritise multiple simultaneous demands.
• Exchange CAD models between IPSD and customer engineers.
• Proactively manage customer confidentiality risks.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Applications Engineers & Tech Leads, Architects, CPPD, internal & external customer engineers, IPI management.
 
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential: CAD (ProE) skills Desirable: Whole engine system installation Tier 0 through Tier 4 diesel technology Off-highway machine architecture.
