Sitec is looking for a Stress Engineer for a Multinational Aerospace Organisation based in Bristol.
Role
You will support the mechanical integrity assessments of Fan components, through analysis of Flight Test data and support to Verification activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Experience in Stress and Vibration
- Good understanding of Component Vibration behaviour / analysis techniques
- FE experience
- PC proficient - Word, PowerPoint and XL etc
- Good communication skills, ability to work within team environment.
- Self motivated, happy to work with changing priorities
An understanding of the following types of analyses/assessment would also be advantageous:
HCF / LCF
FOD tolerance
Damage Tolerance
