Sitec are currently looking to 3 Business Associates for a nuclear MoD establishment in Reading. The posts are for an estimated 6 month contracts and are paying on an hourly basis.
Successful applicants will be required to be Security Cleared to top secret level prior to appointment.
Job/Role Purpose
- To execute technical administrative activities and tasks in support of business delivery. To be part of a business support team providing business services to the department Leadership and their Group Leaders.
Key Accountabilities
Accountable to the Business Services Team Leader providing Business Management information and support services at all levels of the Business.

- Ensure that administrative services are delivered in accordance with current approved processes and that they are appropriately planned
Key Responsibilities
- To provide support in;
- General and technical administration, including Outlook management of diary, filing, document preparation, document control
- Presentation development
- Replying to correspondence where appropriate by email or letter
- Arranging technical meetings and suitable venues
- Maintaining office security
- Disposing of classified material
- Photocopying and typing
- Organising and maintaining document filing cabinets

- Visible commitment to safety improvement programmes and all safety related activities.
- Support a culture of zero accidents or incidents relating to occupational and personal safety, security, health issues and environmental matters.
- Ensure that the highest standards of compliance are maintained across all work activities within the Asset and Directorate.

Performance delivery
- Ensure that all allocated work activities are delivered in an appropriate and cost effective manner.
- Promoting a Right First Time quality culture in all work related activities.
- To provide technical support to an integrated business and administrative services function for the Directorate
- Manage diaries and schedules appropriately, arranging and prioritising meetings and organising hospitality.
- Arrange visitor clearances to site.
- Develop and maintain various processes and systems relating to relevant management area
- Format and type technical reports, presentations slides etc in accordance with Company Standards
- Co-ordinate visits to the facility ensuring requirements of facility security and safety access are met.
- Manage arrangements for visits, UK and overseas (flights, accommodation, hire cars, taxis) and liaise with ILO
- Maintain meeting rooms for supplies and manage the calendars.
- Compile and maintain muster roll call lists for facility
- To act as a focal point for Facility issues, liaising with the AFM regarding maintenance/service and accommodation requirements for the building.
- Delegated signatory for property passes/A217/External Issue Voucher.
- Control of the monthly/quarterly distribution of TLDs to facility personnel.
- Act as a focal point for dealing with internal and external people and queries
Qualifications
- Good Standard of Education
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or business related subject
Knowledge
- Sound knowledge and understanding of office practices within a Business Support environment.
- Accredited Requisitioner.
- SLO responsibilities and duties desirable
- Knowledge of relevant Health, Safety, Security and Quality principles.
Experience
- Extensive experience of business systems that support an Asset or Directorate.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office business applications. (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) desirable
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
