Product Structure Controller

Sitec is looking for a Product Structure Controller to work within a multinational organisation based in Derby.

Role

You will work within our client’s Test Rid Development department, dealing with suppliers from Europe and the US.  This work will involve:

• Coordinating the loading of design information and drawings produced by the external companies onto the internal database (Teamcentre).  Also managing that data and liaising with external suppliers and internal customers.
• You will ensure the right info (designs solutions) are sent to external suppliers and when received back are stored correctly on the database systems and then coordinate those folders and organise them collating them into tasks.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:

• Experience of TeamCentre, PDM (archiving and pulling out of part numbers and design solution numbers).
• Unigraphics experience is essential
• 3D modelling and model awareness
• Experience with product structure and assembly modelling
• Experience of preparing detail drawings/models and basic design schemes
• Experience of creating parts in PDM and submission to PLM/SAP
• Knowledge of supporting external design houses in seed part creation
