Performance Engineer

Sitec is looking for a Performance Engineer for a contract role in South Germany


Job Description:

• Definition and analysis of the steady operating performance and dynamic behavior of aircraft gas turbines in close cooperation with partner companies
• Collaboration in project teams
• Creation and use of performance analysis and synthesis models for the prediction of engine performance
• Development and improvement of methods and procedures for power calculation and experimental analysis
• Participation in the integrated,multidisciplinary and engine design, development of relevant procedures

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or aviation and aerospace technology with a focus on flight actuators (first priority), gas turbines, or comparable training
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, design and operating characteristics of gas turbines, basic knowledge of engine components
• Relevant experience in the development and application of design and simulation software tools
• Experience in the design of turbomachinery and the analysis of experimental data advantageous
• Good computer skills (PC, UNIX, Fortran)
• Good English language skills in speaking and writing
• Careful, conceptual and targeted work and approach
• Team skills, communication skills, outgoing personality, good self-organization and self-initiative
