Security Clearance:        Current valid security clearance would be a distinct advantage

REQUIREMENTS

You will have good document management skills including experience of an electronic document control system.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller
  • Experience and understanding of Supplier and Engineering documentation
  • Working knowledge of document control systems
  • Working knowledge of an Electronic Document Management System (ideally EDF’s Passport)
  • Understanding of Document Control processes
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to organise workload
  • Attention to Detail
  • Team worker

Previous experience of Nuclear Plant and preparation of Life time Record Packs would be an advantage. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties of a Document Controller are set out below, but also include any other reasonable activity as directed from time to time.  Although acting as a member of the Document Control Team will be expected to take the lead in preparation of Life time Record Packs

  • Ensuring all projects are co-ordinated as per document control procedures
  • Maintaining Electronic Document Management System
  • Maintaining project correspondence/technical query registers
  • Maintaining project files
  • Distribution of project documentation in accordance with agreed matrices
  • Tracking and Reporting on Project Document Status
  • Recording and Distributing Incoming Supplier & 3rd Party Documentation
  • Providing support to site team on document control procedures

Interfacing with Client and Design Office Document Controllers
