This position executes processes, develops plans and utilizes tools that support the Caterpillar Quality Management System (CQMS). The incumbent will be involved with various activities to deliver continuous product and process improvement, typical activities include but are not limited to: -
Collection and analysis of data.
Investigation of nonconformance to determine permanent resolution.
Coordinate and conduct internal quality audits for MQ12005.
Administer area metrics.
Support certification activities.
Identify non-conformance.
Resolve issues by selecting the best solutions.
Support section managers and team leaders in root cause corrective action activity.Job Details:
This person will be required to perform a variety of duties relating to the development and implementation of methods, procedures and equipment used within the quality department. This is fundamentally a reactive quality role responding to issues found within the manufacturing facility on a daily basis.Background / Experience:
The following skills and experience are desirable for this position:
Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing and/or maintenance standards.
Analytical capability.
Personal computer skills and familiarity with various software packages will be required.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Understanding of Caterpillar engineering drawings and standards.
Knowledge of Client Articulated Trucks, quality systems and product testing.
MQ12005 team involvement.
Previous CPI experience would be an advantage.- Location:
