Sitec urgently require an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for an estimated 6 month contract in Bristol

Manufacturing Engineer – Rapid Prototyping / Additive Manufacture.
A temporary opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer with Rapid Prototyping experience to work within the company’s Rapid Prototyping Facility.

Project Overview
The job role will support current work packages and customer requirements as well as help develop future capability.
The role will be customer facing and the candidate will be expected have a working knowledge of Rapid Prototyping processes including additive manufacture and be able to receive customer data, manipulate it as required and build parts.
Knowledge of new and emerging technologies would be advantageous.

Essential Skills/Experience
Sound engineering knowledge is essential with the ability to think laterally to resolve customer issues.
Prior knowledge and experience of working with Rapid Prototyping Processes, including additive manufacture / ALM (Additive Layer Manufacturing).
CAD skills are essential as part of the role (detailed knowledge of NX, Magics and Lightyear software highly desirable).
Energy, drive, determination and the ability to deliver work on time are essential.
Knowledge of tool design and manufacture would be advantageous.
